01-02 F body's with LS1s are a little more expensive. Its worth it if you dont plan on making a racecar. 01-02 LS1s ran .2-.3 tenths quicker and sometimes more and put down 290-305rwhp. The reason is because the last 2 years they had to make/find parts to use because after AUG 2000 they quit producing parts, so the last 2 years were a mix of parts. Smaller spec cams from 6.0L trucks were installed and the LS6 intake and clutch(6spd). It had noticable TRQ increase and few HP, 28lb injectors etc.

yea ive been looking into getting one too in about 6 months ive seen a lot more ss for sale than z28s so it would probably be easier to find an ss for a good price than a z28 XD

are 01 ss's hard to come by? I want one. besides that a 00 z28 isnt bad.

its got QTP longtube headers,QTP y pipe with no cats, Borla catback with no plate. Underdrive pulley,lid,Ported throttle body,Fast toys ram air,160* thermostat, And a nice Cam! :)
