Stock Camry with the 2.5 169hp LE motor and a 6 speed auto. Done with traction control turned off, resulting in an approximately 8.5 second 0-60 time. I thought the car felt pretty peppy, especially since this is the base motor. I finally understand why people complain that the Camry is underdamped and floaty, though. This car, while comfortable, rolls in corners like it's got dough in the suspension. The steering is also far too light, but that makes for easy parking.

    Thanks dude!

  • did you floored the gas pedal?

  • @frank3c03 Absolutely.

  • get better tires, these ones seem to lack grip

  • @immortal4942

They came standard and the car's pretty new. I did notice them squealing a lot though.

Well, Motor Trend recently clocked the Camry at 8.4 and the Fusion at 8.7 in their latest comparo, so if the Fusion "feels" faster, it really is just a perception.

  • @rforracing Camry 3.5 is a fast car.

  • @sasallmmaann You can say "y" as much as you want. However, I think you meant if you can "ASK WHY"? Read his description. "Done with traction control turned off".

  • @jaytheo510 can i have the pleasure to say y?????

  • @sasallmmaann You're stupid... Lol.

  • This is a 4-cyl right?

  • turn the trc off noob thumbs up so he can see

  • @nolanm6500 see, Ford's playskool gauge clusters aren't any better... so I agree with your point there. I think Ford is trying too hard...

  • @OverlyExcitedNewJack so get a focus, it has a really exciting dash that a 3 year old would love

  • @motormusique replace asap. factory tires are nightmare. you can also get a set of nice aftermarket suspension for better handling tokico hp shocks and tein s springs if you want it a bit lowered. replace brake pads with hawks hps street pads.
