What acting by the both David Wicks and Joe. Sometimes in real life you have to face up to ones frailties and the acting shown by the cast in this episode was just incredible. I doubt whether we'll ever see anything as raw and emotional played with such heart ever again in EE!

david wicks is such a bitter man he never wanted anything to do with his dad pete beale while hes alive and his other family as well!

@MeBenHalpin Beacuse his character was a weak complexed man behind the powerful swagger and he was selfish like Pete Beale his biological father who walked out on the young Beale family when David was a toddler it was just History repeating its self, though Pete was a good father to Ian unlike David was to Bianca and his other two.

David Wicks had a soft center and his heart was in the right place, but was a flawed character and weak, made worse by circumstances to the point where it became pretty twisted. made for a great drama at the time -why I uploaded it :)
