Lincoln reeanctor Dennis Boggs, honored a Union soldier marker dedication ceremony on August 14, 2010 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. He recited the words to the April 30, 1863 national day of Prayer proclamation at the graveside.

  • In the text of the proclimation, note that "humiliation" = "fasting"
