great job! good ear for mashable songs lol. I am trying to find a good pair to cover, have done a few, it's hit or miss really. but i understand your "tedious" comment about pasting and trying to align the times..I have to do that when I record my harmonies or lead/rhthym guitar. -Samantha*

Now that I have access to GarageBand, I'm thinking about making my own mixes. I have a ton of music to choose from.
I'm thinking the main riff of Angel of Death by Slayer, with some Public Enemy rapping behind it.

These works really swell together!
Hey, great job! Wish I had thought of this myself. Question: HOW did you do this with garageband? I've been trying to use it & seems very tedious. How did you isolate the "voices" to make the sound clips/loops? How did you get the loops to blend seamlessly? Are you using something in addition to Garageband? I'm asking you because your mash up is exactly the kind of thing I'd want to make myself with with care in the details as you've done. Thanks.

@sikhayar first of all, the reason the song flows well (despite the obvious flaws) is because they fit together almost perfectly, not because i have any skill at making mashups. second of all, making this on garageband was the definition of tedious- so much looping and cut and paste- but it was the only program i had. The main thing you need to find are two good mashuppable songs, the rest just happens no matter what program you use.

I can't tell... did you use a single mixed down version of Loser here, or a multitrack? If you used a multitrack, would you mind showing me where you found it?
Badass mashup, too! I'm a bit jealous I never thought of this; Beck and The Beatles are two of my favourite artists.
