What is "Red Faces"?

Hey Hey It's Saturday was the longest running variety show on Australian television. Over its 28 year run, Red Faces was the most popular segment, featuring hundreds of the funniest and weirdest acts you could ever wish to see.

I do remember this one, I think in the end the let go the hats and they did not fall down. I haven't seen it on the DVD's though. Sorry.
