@nyarltep yes, this is sometimes called a leading leg. Just a plate to move the axle forward of it's original location. It looks like one of the simpler ways to reduce trail, but I have yet to try it.
@hawaiisidecar No, I wish I did! Steering effort is high and I was pretty beat up at the end of this ride. I swapped handlebars last spring-these are 6" wider than what i had and are a big improvement. If I get ahead of my other projects, I will probably make an axle carrier to move the axle forward and reduce the trail, incorporating brake mounts and a fork brace.

@AdventureSidecar Axle carrier? Is that a leading leg? I think my fork brace helps with control and stiffening the front end.
