Here is a recording released on 45 in the spring of 1967 by the Emperors of Harrisburg, PA, the soul/funk band that had a national hit with "Karate" a few months earlier. "Searchin'," a fine cover of the 1957 hit by the Coasters, was the designated B side of Mala 561, with "Lookin' for My Baby" chosen by label execs as the "push side." Neither song charted. By the way, if you share my philosophy, "never grow up, never grow old," come on over to my blog, Shady Dell Music & Memories at www.shadydell.blogspot.com. See you there!
Found this record in a charity shop last week and am now spinning it down town on friday.. Mod&Soul - Peace!

@aintellengreat Clean copies of this two-sider are hard to find but the sound jumps off the grooves no matter what shape the wax is in. Thanks for your comment, mate!

This is an example of a cover that's better than the original, IMHO. Thanks for your comment!
