The Emperors "Searchin'"

Here is a recording released on 45 in the spring of 1967 by the Emperors of Harrisburg, PA, the soul/funk band that had a national hit with "Karate" a few months earlier. "Searchin'," a fine cover of the 1957 hit by the Coasters, was the designated B side of Mala 561, with "Lookin' for My Baby" chosen by label execs as the "push side." Neither song charted. Thanks for posting... This is thier 1st recording......Dynamite Soul Version of the Coasters...They Played as one of the House Bands at WHITE OAKS Park in the 60's....
