I like the look of the nodes as they are now better. The smoke things (idk what they do) make it all look too industria, but I suspect that if you make the smoke vis-purple, that would solve that little issue. All in all I'm impressed and amazed at your hard work and dedication, Thaumcraft is an excellent mod, and already one of my top fave (possibly my #1). Keep up the excellent modding! ^__^

awesome mod!!!!!!!!!!!! one suggestion( or a few lol) mabe you could add a type of ruined temple with some of the items in it and add them to the client world gen when someone downloads this mod. also you could add something like a thaum crystal ore, or mabie complicated ways to obtain obelisk parts and different things of the sort. just a few suggestions:P
