Ragnesands - parkering på fortau - Seilduksgata bussterminal høsten 2009

A satisfied bus driver is caught on camera, walking towards Mr. Tangs Restaurant after another illegal parking of a bus in Seilduksgata on September 2nd 2009. For a few days we hoped that this "bus business" had finally come to an end, courtesy of the Oslo authorities and the police. Not at all.

These videos are NOT posted on YouTube to get a lot of views or comments.

They are posted because ALL the buildings surrounding the illegal bus terminal are subjected to a high risk of fire. None of the preserved buildings are constructed with concrete, they are ALL built with a LOT of wood. If a rapid fire occurs, the Oslo Fire Department will have no chance when illegally parked tourist buses are blocking our streets, while the drivers are gone for a break. We do NOT want to store the video documentation in one of these old buildings, hence the storage of the video documentation on a YouTube (video) server in the United States.

Norwegian: Dette er en veldig kort video. En fornøyd bussjåfør er filmet mens han er på vei til Mr. Tangs Restaurant etter enda en ulovlig parkering den 2. september 2009. I noen dager trodde vi kanskje at bussterminalen var borte, takket være nye initiativ fra myndighetene og politiet i Oslo. Men nei.
