How should one pronounce aluminium?

On my Tumblr Accent video, Americans said I pronounce it wrong.
Do I?

Hopefully, I'm not overstepping but in America there are two diffrent ways of pronouncing and spelling it. The most popular and commonly used one, being, Aluminum, when describing Reynolds Wrap a type foil for wrapping food and various other objects. Aluminium is rarely discussed outside a science classroom and when it is its pronounced as close to the British conversational version. Hope this clears up any misunderstandings.

I am American. I side with the British in most things. But not aluminum. Zee vs. zed, yes. But not aluminum.

    >First off, it's moose, I have five moose, not I have five mooses. Second, of course we do, even with birds, look at robins. Animal names such as the moose come from Native Americans.

    >Ok... how? I don't think I've ever used learned for anything but saying, hey look what I learned today! If that's what you mean you wouldn't seem to be well learnt (doesn't think it is a word).

    >What?...

    >Yes it's called an apostrophe, and it's used to shorten words. Think of o' clock.

How many times can this be said, English, is a diverging language with many different paths. In America we say and spell it aluminum, in the UK it is said and spelled aluminium (by the way Google is trying to correct me on spelling it your way). Elsewhere who cares how they say it. You still know what I'm saying, so why do you care. So many people speak English you are bound to have some differences. So on to the other things you wrote.

Americans say a bunch of shit wrong, including Aluminium.

    >Americans call elk mooses, while giving the name elk to an entirely different animal

    >Learned versus learnt

    >Irregardless

    >A whole 'nother

    >Axe you a question

    >Pronouncing etc as "ex-set-er-a"

    The list goes on.
