Those v10s sounded so much nicer than the v8s

Good thing it didn't happen sooner and have him smash into the bridge over the roadway.
-
WTF? The driver was OK, but marshall was killed
-
what is the full name of killed driver?
-
I remember this happening, and remember hearing about the marshall. Shows marshalling will always have its dangers.
Ralfs fault though, backing off that early, and moving to the right to start and then slowing and slightly moving to the left
-
Yeh, apparently a tyre went through a gap in the fence, and the gap was only about 3cm wider than the tyre. How unlucky
-
Pause at sec 8 & 9

It's because the BMW F1 was very very fast on the straights but hard to brake early so it could take the corners at a manageable speed. It know it sounds absurd but in the early 2001 F1 season Williams had some issues with their brakes, and had to slow down earlier. It's why Verstappen hit Montoya in Sau Paulo because Montoya was having to get on the brakes earlier than most other drivers.
