My Soldier. [Nelena] 15*

I quickly pulled away. For some weird reason I felt guilty even though I wasn't with Nick anymore. I looked away and bit my lips nervously.

"I'm sorry," he said.

I looked at him, "I'm sorry, I can't do this."

"Why not Selena? I want to be there for you and the baby," he said.

"Jess....," I started, "I still love Nick."

"But Selena...," he began, "I heard what he did to you! He doesn't love you!"

I couldn't believe he brought up what I wanted to forget. I felt tears forming in my eyes and then he said, "Listen Sel, I'm sorry. I won't do it again. Okay?"

"Okay," I replied softly.

The rest of the ride home was silent. When I got to my room I pulled my shirt over my head and grabbed a towel. I turned on the shower and took off the rest of my clothes. I looked into the mirror and took two steps back. I glanced downward and noticed that my belly was beginning to show. It was nothing major, just a little bump. If you didnt know I was pregnant you would assume I was getting a little gut. I stepped into the warm shower and it felt amazing.


So nothing big happened in the following 3 months. Jess and I remained friends. We both managed to forget the awkward kiss that happened. Nick stopped calling me but Taylor started calling Jess. Hmmmm, I wonder why?! *laughs*

I was looking out the window when Jess called down from below.

"Hey," I replied.

"Come downstairs. I have to ask you something," he said.

I nodded and walked downstairs.

"Whats up?" I asked.

"Okay, I have a company party tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to go?" he asked.

"Is it formal?" I asked.

"Yes," he replied.

"Okay, I'll go," I said.

"Cool," he replied, "because I already bought your dress."

I laughed because he knew me too well. He ran back to the car and pulled out an amazing black gown. I gasped in awe and he handed it over to me. Then he told me to be ready by 8.

At 8 o'clock I walked downstairs looking truly amazing. I felt like a princess. Jess smiled at me as I walked towards him.

"You look beautiful," he said.

"Thank you," I replied.

When we arrived at the party it was about 8:30. We walked inside where there more people dressed beautifully. Jess introduced me to all of his coworkers and they all seemed really nice.

"Okay, this is the guy were trying to merge our company with," he whispered to me as we walked over to him.

I nodded then Jess cleared his throat and said, "Excuse me."

The man turned around and I couldn't believe it.

"Good evening Mr. Jonas," Jess said.

Nick looked at me from head to toe.

"This is Selena Gomez," Jess continued.

Nick extended his hand out for a handshake. I shook it gently and said, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Jonas."

After that torture was done I excused myself and left Nick and Jess talking. I almost ran down the hall and into a room. I couldnt believe it was him! I dont think he realized I was pregnant. Well, hopefully he didnt realize it. Suddenly I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and I sucked my stomach in. By the way, I failed horribly at it*laughs* Like it's possible to suck in a baby! So anyway, I turned around in his arms to see Nick staring down at me. I couldn't find any words to say. His lips crashed down upon mine taking my breath away.
