this is halloween should be played at half the speed of the previous section. that's why 'half time' is written on the score at the beginning of that section!! that's a bad mistake...

I'm possibly the only one hearing this because i'm a percussionist, but they:

    1.Didn't play Halftime for Halloween

2.Rushed throughout the song , other than beetlejuice

3.Omitted the flexatone, rachet, gong, bell tree, and toms

    4.Missed a timpani roll.

5.Came in late with the tamborine for beetlejuice (and rested for too long)

    6.Epically dropped drumsticks at 1:26

And finally, the guy with crash symbals missed 3 crashes (basicaly just held them for display) only to half-fail the final crunch

I would suggest working to follow the dynamics written, or even exaggerate them so they are more prevalent and, well, DYNAMIC! Great job though, sounded overall pretty good.

Some helpful pointers, balance! I heard a lot of flute the entire time and the lower woodwinds were being drowned out. Your intonation seemed to be alright, which speaking from experience is not easy on this piece. I've played it for a while and I noticed a lot of creative tweaks to the piece, especially in the percussion section. Another big thing the performance lacked was dynamic. This particular piece, or assembling of pieces, has a lot of dynamic work, Danny Elfman was a genius at this.

The snare wasn't playing what was written at all throughout the Spider-Man theme, but it sounded great!

    The trombone glissando was pathetic.

I play tuba for this part, and during Beetle Juice, their tuba fell apart and slowed the whole band down. Also, they were terribly off tune. I think we can all agree that this piece was not performed very well by this band.

I play the timpani part for this piece at my school, and for me this was real easy to count and follow and the timpani player within this video missed everything besides the tambourine part and he was not playing the spider man section dynamically or rhythmically right I'm not sure if he was sight playing, nervous or just plain did not know what he was doing i felt i sight played my part spot on but there is other mistakes that are obvious and the rest of the percussion section....big fail
