This here is a report about my experience with the Bionx electric motor recently installed on my recumbent tricycle.

My trike is the Terratrike Cruiser manufactured by Wizwheels, which retails for about $1300, and here is its home page:

I forgot to mention, the Bionx kit does not come cheap. With installation from a local cycle shop (Salem Cycles), the whole thing cost me $2000. That sounds like a lot, but when you figure that I don't drive a car to work, I am saving quite a bit of buckage.

Bionx is Still the Best ready made kit out there after nearly a decade . & i've tested dozens of bikes and kits. To me , the key is the software . 4:30 is funny because i've heard "DuDe, that's so SICK !" so many times =D . my car is in forced hibernation mode . Great post ravelgrane

Great video... informative about the Bionix... but great dry humor. I love it. I have a Terra Trike Tour and love it. have not put up the $ to get a Bionix, but would love to!

at the 2:29 mark the display is backlit, is this factory, or did you install the lights? i only ask because i've heard there is no backlight. i've only driven a bionx bike during the day. thanx
