While the horse meat scandal gallops on across Europe, with meals containing equine DNA being withdrawn in 7 countries so far including the United Kingdom, and Germany, some people in France have extolled the virtues of eating horse, a practice some people from neighbouring countries find revolting.

    As a consumer you should be given an honest choice. It's all about honest business practice and ethics. There was something on the news the other day here in Los Angeles where many sea food restaurants mislabel fish and you don't know exactly what it is your getting. Unless you eat fish all the time you may or may not know what it is your paying for.

    its not about the fact that its horse but that they didnt know were the food came from !

    we need to be able to trace were the meat comes from in case of a disease
