  • It is hit & Miss. You can't tell becuase the sound of the video makes it sound throttle governed.

  • any idea what the compression ratio is? Im wondering if can make diesel this way if compression is high enough.

  • I don't know what the ratio is, but you can make it as high as you want. Just depends on how much spacer you use between head and block.

  • What kind of fuel would you have to use?

  • Just plain old Gasolene.

  • This is the head that came with this compressor. It has a 1 inch spacer between the head and cylinder. The head was modified to use valves in place of the reed valves.

  • @ecregger Actually it is Hit and Miss if you dont believe us look at some old engine liturature or go to wwwsmokstakcom and talk with the folks there.
