@bronzetax "Democratic Youth" was part of the name of the organization, just like East Germany was officially known as the "German Democratic Republic." Just about every Communist Party that adhered to the Soviet line had members in the WFDY.

well if you paid at least some attention of what is going on then you would know that this set up is a part of the World Festival of Youth an Students (organized by the World Federation of Democratic Youth) in Moscow in 1985, ie that means there were thousands of weirdos from all over the world....

I'm a Russian I believe that our former Communist government dismally failed to teach us to show all the people in this world the true light of our idealogy, perhaps it's because of Stalin's ruthless and cruel policies or we Russians simply failed to learn the true faith. perhaps if there was no civil war in Mother Russia in 1918-1921 maybe things could have been better and the communist leadership much nicer, maybe freedom of speech should not have been ignored,
just saying Marxism could work.

man kann von ihm halten, was man will. er war ein guter sänger und hat seine meinung vertreten. auch als schauspieler war er nicht schlecht. schade um ihn. er ist wohl gescheitert, weil er auch in der ddr nur benutzt wurde.
