Part 1 2010 Hampton Roads Virginia LGBT Pride Festival

Follow along as I attend the Festival and chat with some of the people who represent certain issues important to LGBT rights. We see the usual booths with T shirts, stickers, pins, food, home improvement, and financial planning. The weather was very hot and the folks staffing the beer garden were doing a brisk business. Join with me in chastising Virginie Beach Democrats for backing the freshman incumbent Congressman, Glenn Nye. Nye voted against healthcare reform. If reelected, I fear he will sell out on other issues important to our community feeling as though the election has suggested an acceptance for a Blue Dog middle of the road, riding the fence, and unreliable democrat. VB Democrats should have drafted Phil Kellam for the job. In my opinion, they blew a good opportunity.
