Republicans, please stop pretending you speak for me or any other people in rural America. We are not all the religious, conservative, blindly patriotic people we are alleged to be. In fact, from what I have seen in all my years, very few of us are. We've seen what unchecked capitalism has done to rural communities- the takeover of our economies by agribiz, the emptying of our towns to urbanization from globalization, and the degradation of the environment. We're not pleased.

Very glad to see that the forgotten Americans finally may be getting some representation after 40 years of abandonment due to the 60's thru today civil rights frenzy. The invisible, patriotic Americans left in the shadows are the real stain on this country today. Now that another culture has its needs met by whatever means..time we look back at those left behind and their same needs! They've been whispering while the others been shouting! Don't forget those who are PROUD to be Americans.
