When bred correctly, the Arabian is a great saddle breed. They are hardy, solid, stable, and have great endurance and weight-carrying capicity. Despite this, I am probably one of a few select group of people who do not find the dished face of the Arabian attractive. In fact, I think an extremely dished face, such as the unhealthy ones seen in show Arabians, are kind of ugly. I prefer a straight face. So be careful calling Arabians "the most beautiful horse". Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

@TheTnseem The one horse who HAS kicked me when I've fallen on the ground was an Arabian. Their high-strung horses, so actually an untrained Arabian may not be that safe. However, saying any breed of horse "won't kick you when you fall off" is ridiculous; horses are individuals. Depending on their training, temperment, and experience, any horse is potential dangerous or docile.

arabs r nice but they are the most flighty they r exellent for showing and endurance but in other disciplines they r useless they r pretty but all horses in the world a gorgerous and i dont like to pick my favorite the horse is to be respected and not to be picked they come and go and they have helped us humans for thousands of years all horses and my favourite no matter what breed, colour height

I really like Arab horses. I like the smaller size. It looks alot better more of a unity than riding those tall ones at 170cm. And they got the most important qualities speed and endurance! What else do you need?

You remind us of the love Alexander the Great had for his horse: Bucephalus – a city named by Alexander the Great after his Horse, expressing his love and fondness out of gratitude.

He lived and conquered the world, of which he credits much to his beloved horse. Alexander remained ill after his most beloved horse had died and he too died a year later.
