I've lived in Oklahoma all of my life, love this state with all my heart, but I thought that was pretty damn funny, though a bit childish. But, who gives a shit. All I've heard since the game has been OSU fans crying about the performance. If they're really that classless, then don't pay attention to them. They've been doing this type of stuff for a long, long time and most of their performances have been a lot more controversial (see BYU). Quit crying and forget about it.

Stanford band is notorious for this crap. It's almost completely student run and has been punished by their own university for crossing the line multiple times over a 30 year span. But now their shows don't go tooooo far cause they have to be approved by the Athletic Department. I don't care about there "uniforms" or their half time/pregame show (especially at this game cause it wasn't that bad), but their behavior after the game was classless.

OSU fan here, I was at the game, every Stanford fan I met before and after the game was very nice. Football team played great, OSU was very lucky to get out of there with a win. Band sucked......totally classless, no talent, I'd rather listen to a toilet flush than listen to their band. Bunch of arrogant pseudo-intellectual jerks who enjoy the attention they get by being rude. Reminds me of some Jr. High kids farting in class.......but the farting sounds better.

@MoronImmune Well, like I said, they are mainly student-run, so the University cant do too much about it. They either spend all of their hard-earned money to be in the band, or (and this is more likely at this school) they use mommy and daddy's money to be able to travel and be a part of the group. Don't really have a prob with their show, as I'm originally from Texas, haha, but they were very classless after the game.........

@simflyer86 Obviously not punished ENOUGH if they're still allowed to play in public. Funding for that kind of behavior needs to be cut. People complain about athletic programs getting so much $ - they should see THAT mess more often and they wouldn't be so thrilled to throw $ to the "arts" either. Kudos to the football team for a game played hard but the band totally makes them look bad.

Would you like to report this video as inappropriate? << That's funny! I wouldn't say inappropriate as much as I'd say CLASSLESS, TACKY, AND A DISCREDIT TO THE SCHOOL! Shame on them! I feel for Stanford's football team to have a classless opening show like THAT to follow.

Correction, it was an Arizona Congressman that came up to the band to offer a donation to the Cowboy band. Also is going to pay for ads in the Tulsa and OKC newspapers for the OSU band. That's the kind of support you get when you are a classy organization

Also, one more thing, I live in Stillwater and used to attend OSU, and one of my coworkers is in the band, so I have my sources. My coworker also said that a random attendee of the game (I think he was a volunteer bowl worker/neutral fan) asked for the mike from the band director and told the Cowboy Band he would make a donation towards them for representing their University with class after what he saw from the Stanford student band

They wouldn't stop playing even after their own fans left, and OSU was trying to play their Alma Mater for their fans. They were also told repeatedly by Fiesta Bowl officials to be quiet so the awards ceremony could be done, as they were trying to play through it. Still took them a while to shut up, and the ceremony was delayed. I hope they realize that even a large amount of their own fans/alumni don't like how they act

Was this supposed to be funny? It sucked. If you're gonna bash other schools at least make it somewhat humerous. Sad that they don't have enough pride for their own school to play for their own fans. And a band that sucks so bad they just have to run around spelling out words instead of entertaining with their instruments....LAME. Thanks for looking like a**es Stanford...you made us Pokes even more proud to be from OK. Please keep your liberal a**es off of our LAND...you're not welcome here.
