A powerful performance from the excellent Bat for Lashes at the intimate Melkweg Oude Zaal. These video clips were taken from the small balcony.

A loud crowd created an amazing atmosphere. It was just a shame that a small ignorant section talked the whole way through the lovely Caroline Weeks supporting performance.

Another excellent vid of a great BFL performance. Nothing ruff about this, except what Natasha's wearing round her neck (sorry!). But she carries off that look; plus as you told me, ruffs were 'common apparel in Holland in the 17th century', so right country at least! I'm seeing Charlotte Hatherley (seated besides Natasha here) on Sunday @ Winchester showcasing her 3rd solo album. Ash's ex-guitarist, parades her instrumental versatility in this, whilst entering into the song's spirit with gusto
