Directed by Kelly Loudenberg. Began in the 1970s as an experimental city and urban laboratory, Arcosanti continues it's mission today by proposing an alternative to urban sprawl. Arcosanti seeks to give the urban system a boundary, keeping the natural countryside in close proximity to its urban dwellers. Located in the high desert of Arizona, just 70 miles north of Phoenix, Arcosanti will house 5,000 residents and will occupy only 25 acres of a 4060-acre land preserve when complete.
@Homecountry don't you think the bigger problem is that you have to "sell" anything if it makes total sense.

@hobo8675309 ha, after 30 some odd years its 3% complete (97% incomplete). It is Paolo's fault though, should have taken an econ course at some point. Don't get me wrong, the idea of arcology makes total sense and is great, but you need to "sell" it to the world if you want to make any progress on it. Sad to say w/ the low viewer-ship, 3% completion, and economic ruin of the plan, nothing will come from it.
