The way that minds are controlled is with a kind of reward / acceptance paradigm. People will die rather than give up the illusion or operating delusion of status. It means they can reward themselves by screwing or beating out other people or creatures and they can make that seem "nomal" to themselves. Strangely enough my own parents made me not want to procreate because everyday was a hiearchal torture fest holyday. My childhood was a "believe lies or die" kind of party.
