okay funny story today, this guy who i have a very large crush on walks up and asks "so.. do you like me?" now for me, saying yes would be like admitting defeat so with a blank "oh shit" look on my face i said "uuuhhhh im twitterpaterd.." and walked away XD  i just sent him this video XDDD

I never said anything about how men and women should act; there is no prerequisite to our behavioural devlopment- nobody intentionally acts like a man or like a woman even if they are a man and a women because we do not define male and female in that way in the first place. behaviour is more fundamental than gender roles, however that's not the point I made. Disney films were noted to portray taboo subjects in the early years of animation, I simply adressed that this may have been an example.

@MuonRay You know what I've noticed? As homosexuality is getting more attention, more people tend to go back towards those age old stereotypes of how men and women supposedly are. Saying that men are tough and nonemotional, that women are fashionable, etc.

BTW, the reason why Friend Owl paused when he got to Flower was probably because he's a skunk! Ever thought of that?

@GameStation3 I know, its just the way the owl paused when got to him and then looked at him with sort of disbelief in what he was saying. I think everyone first watching this film assumed Flower was a female at the beginning- now, at this brief point in the film, it turns out he is in fact male which opens the window of possibility that he could have been gay so hopefully you can see my point in why it is kind of suggestive in the owl pausing specifically at him and making a cautious statement.
