The Spartan Studios film shoot took place April 16-19, on a ranch in beautiful Blanco, Texas. 20 students and Mr. Dolan and Mr. Fabelo filmed a short film titled, "Water's Edge" written and directed by Hugh Ratcliffe and Bennett Torres inspired by submission to the story premise contest by Jennifer Sturley, Lauren Kasper and Jim Crosby. The films stars Huyler Brooks, Luke Sebree and Annie Woodward as three teens trying to run from their past and a rural rehabilitation clinic. The cast also includes Kate Powers and Matt Vale.
The film will premiere at the Spartan Film Festival on Friday May 21st at 7pm, in the Helm Fine Arts Center. Remington Dewan's film, "Teaching The Boy," will premiere at the festival along with the work of many other film students.
