A first attempt at recording some live arranging with the GenoQs Nemo. No flow or feeder/listener trickery just simple muting, switching and a bit of live editing.

  • Whats your major malfunction pistolboy? I got the first email with the original comment. GenoQs do have the manuals available for the Nemo, free for all to download and read. I didn't answer the question because i'm honestly not sure if it does and havn't got around to testing it. My appologies for not jumping on every question posted here and if this initial movie didn't clarify enough about the functionality of the Nemo.

  • Outstanding! I own a Nemo and can't even fathom how you've accomplished this. Are you strictly doing all of this in 'Grid' mode, just muting and unmuting different pages? Or are you bouncing into 'Page' mode periodically and muting/unmuting individual tracks?

Also, have you used 'Cluster' mode yet? I'm having a hard time figuring it out.

    Thanks!

  • All of the above! Technically speaking i'm muting "banks" in grid mode using the mutator buttons. Going into Page mode i'm muting tracks and doing some editing. Page clustering was used briefly in this video but you couldn't see because my left hand was blocking it. Nothing to it really, just put at least 2 pages next to each other then hit the selector button next to the bank they are in. It will turn green (from red) and the pages will play after each other.

  • Amazing! I'm gonna receive mine soon...what are the synths controlled by the nemo?

  • Thanks. The synths used are in the tags: Korg MS-10, Elka EM-22, Oberheim Matrix-1000 and Andromeda A6,

  • @cha0smoon Hey man, wonderful sounds, do you find the nemo user friendly? Worth the money? Have you ever used numerology pattern sequencer? thanx
