This film was shot at Symphony Space in New York City when the Jovino Santos Neto Quinteto performed there as part of the Chamber Music America Annual Conference. We are performing a track from our CD "canto do Rio", which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2004. The band is: myself on piano, Hans Teuber and Harvey Wainapel on alto saxes, Chuck Deardorf on electric bass, Mark Ivester on drums and Jeff Busch on percussion.

  • @blockehead1: Thanks! That is Chuck Deardorf on bass, from Seattle.
