S'cuse my butting in on this healthcare discussion--just wanted to give props for posting this debate. And good point by Hitch r.e. India and our neglect thereof.

@SOAS007 They love the IDEA...but the facts are different. Canadians come to the US for healthcare, because it is MUCH better here. The care and treatments are more successful. I want the BEST when it comes to my freaking LIFE and HEALTH. And I am willing to pay more for it. We are not talking about television, or fish and chips. We are talking about life and death. You don't eat at the worst restruants do you? You pick the ones with the best food and service and you pay for the quality.

@MrBasilGanglia "LOVED BY EVERYONE!!!!??? That is a laugh." the general public love the idea of free at the point of use, and are against a US insurance based system. This is reflected by all political parties too. Sure we have limited resources, but if you have something serious you should be in hospital the following day.

@SOAS007 LOVED BY EVERYONE!!!!??? That is a laugh. You have 1000's dying of sepsis in your crappy hospitals every year. You can't get standard surgery unless you wait forever and a lifetime...literally.
I disagree with you, that's all.

@MrBasilGanglia Healthcare in the UK is in principle not something for insurance companies to profit from. It is paid for from taxation, and loved by everyone. The armed forces, police are paid for this way too, along with schools, that is lefty really cos it was the left wing that did introduce free schools, and healthcare. The right wing sent childred up chimneys.

I love this video and I'm grateful that it got posted but I have to say I hate hearing people drink. It's one of my least favourite things. I wish the host knew that and especially not into a microphone.

@cantroos Hey Pal, it's not my responsibility to pay for YOUR healthcare. Next you'll be asking me to pay your mortgage...if you even have one. My guess is you are a lefty college student who has not worked much outside of a coffee shop.

@tripleheshy Well the US system is amazing if you're rich. Both Williams and Stronach are filthy rich businesspeople so they can get amazing health care everyone else could never access. I have an uncle in the US who has workplace insurance, pretty good but with a $5000 deductible annually. So that's really all it is, in the USA those who can afford great health care get it and pay through the nose for it, 10% annual cost inflation in health care. Not sustainable.

If the wearing of white socks isn't proof there is no God then I don't know what is.
