Julian Heicklen, a former Penn State University Chemistry Professor, believes jurors should vote their consciences when they determine a verdict and not go by the laws that are in the books. And to get his message out, he handed out pamphlets to people outside a Federal Courthouse in New York City. This is the oldest means of advancing an idea and an opinion in America--handing out pamphlets! "This act is protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution. Yet the Professor has been indicted for jury tampering! This charge is a farce! "He has not targeted any specific juror [or] over any specific case. Clearly the government fears the Professor, because if the jurors vote their consciences, then many more unjust government laws may be harder to enforce. The government is bent on silencing him.

  • The judge knows full well the gov procecuters and judges tamper with the jury. They are threatened, told how to think , and told how to rule. The only people that cause problems for the courts are ones that have prior knowlege of the system and do not bend to the jury tampering. Some of the jury do not look for justice for anyone but simply want to do oposite of what the gov demands of them and ignores the threats. The jury does have the power to nullify laws if they stand there ground.

  • we need to take out the trash.

  • Government fears truth and critical thinking.
