Some short clips of various rhythms on my Busker Cajon Kit, to which I have added a 12 x 5" Gub Gub snare drum, Gub Gub bongos and some extra cymbals. Although the sound and picture quality is very poor due to being compressed for YT you can get some idea of how useable this amazingly compact and relatively quiet drum kit is, but it does all sound MUCH BETTER in reality! It's great for small venues, but also good at big ones because it works superbly with microphones. The vellum head on the Gub gub snare is particularly nice for brush work.
The bass drum is built into a Cajon, which is also the stool, the case and the trolley for transporting the kit.
For a minimal set up you can use the Bass Drum/Cajon/Stool/Trolley with just a standard snare drum, and perhaps a hihat and cymbal.
I re-filmed some of this and have deleted the previous YT video.

Thanks drumideas, I like your Cajon/Stomp box video. The pedal on my Cajon/Bass drum can either be attached to the beater, or left unattached and used as a plug-in stomp box, as it has a pick-up and simple circuit to get a decent bass tone.
