@wawhiker yea when i went here the water was very high so it was hard to soak are feet in the river were the log too cross was we were afraid we would fall in and go down the current but we made it.

@KTKTRock It's a beautiful area - lot's to see and there's other places around there to go. You might want to check out my Gothic Basin, Del Campo, Foggy Lake video - it's a hike off the main trail on the way to Monte Cristo. Thanks for watching.

@rainbowhiker This one is a special place for us, and the weather did not let us down. The trail to this mine is the old railroad bed for the ore cars that carried it for processing 30 miles west. The tracks were laid alongside the Stillaguamish River which constantly changed course and flooded. It proved to be a costly blunder.
