It's a cover version of Zoe's 1990 hit which she also wrote.

Emma Bunton was all of 14 years old back then...

It was also used for the Commodore Amiga 500 advert!!

Well, it's a matter of personal taste. I like Zoe's version, possibly because I remember it from when it first came out. In contrast, Emma Bunton's version sounds to me like a fairly unimaginative copy. Each to their own...
