  • Hey Simon, you've got a real talent in playing guitar. you have been a rock n roll fan for a long time, right?

    who's your favorite performer?

  • Too many to mention: Eddie, of course, Santana, Hendrix (goes without saying), Buddy Guy, Sonny Landreth, Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew ... Check out my other vids ...

    Thanks

  • hey Simon! still remember me?

    I can't believe that it's you! That's awesome! ;)

  • Of course I still remember ;-)

  • WOWOOWOW! I can't believe that's you Simon!! Absolutely different from the one I knew in the lectures!!!

  • @yuri5677 mines is. it might depend on how you set it up though.

  • is the startocaster tuning stable after the use of the tremolo

  • @endorfin99 mostly they should work for heavy rock and metal, but the tone has more to do with the amplification you use. i've seen a 10w marshall make a dumb guitar sound like awesome. and i've played super guitars on dumb amps and you'll hate it. there's some guy i saw playing some nightwish rhythm section on a squier with single coils.. bottoline, hotrails is neat. go for it. but look into the amp bit too..

  • This is awesome!

  • hey there, Joe here. Nice sound even thru the computer. My questin is this. I have an American strat that I changed the original pickups for the Texas special pickups but as i continue to develop into my playing I'm looking to replace the bridge pickups for more of a humbucker sounding pickup. Did you replace yours with the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails? I'm not attempting Van halen yet but I do like the sound of AC/DC, Metallica and Creed. Would the Hot Rails be able to pull that off?
