Night is Day - Scottish Superhero Movie - Sizzle Reel

"Night is Day" is a superhero with a twist - set in Scotland, we follow Jason Mackenzie, a vigilante with the powers to fight evil with lightning in his body and the ability to see how people are going to die just by touching them.

When an ancient creature, The Caillech, re-appears in present day Scotland threatening to destroy the world in three days, Jason must team up with Lexi, a sexy vampire, to find a way to stop the Caillech.

Meanwhile a corrupt businessman, Mr. Philips, plans on using the Caillech for his own gains, sending his wise-cracking assassin Frank Stone, after medical student Lena, who is mysteriously connected to the Caillech.

Superintendent Charles Sloan and his team are forced to investigate the Caillech's appearance and will stop at nothing to save the world.

Shot on a budget of £4,500 with a talented cast from around the UK with a crew of 65 people pulling together to make a Scottish movie with a difference.

The film is in post-production and will be completed by the end of 2011.

We hope to find distribution for the film to show that independent filmmaking can make a difference.
