In Pakistan the prospect of making good commercial movies is dim because the industry is not developed enough, its not economically feasible to make a film, until 2008 the government had a very high entertainment tax on cinemas, and offcourse Piracy of films is very high. We have quite a few films which never saw distribution because of these reasons,but the policies are changing now government has started restricting on pirated movies, however we wont see a local film anytime soon
