CityPulse Tonight 2003 open

Mark Dailey died on December 6, 2010, just a few short months after he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He was 57. The long-time reporter/anchorman and "The Voice" of Citytv will forever be missed.

From the time when Mark Dailey actually had a co-anchor on "...Tonight": Alex Pierson (later with Global and currently with Sun News Network).

This was probably from Remembrance Day that year, I would think. Of course, please correct me if I'm wrong (because, for one, where's the pin?). This was also likely the same newscast given a teaser for (see the "CityPulse Tonight teaser" clip).

Loved the arrangement of that CityPulse/CityNews theme back there, as well as those scenes from around Toronto in the open.

@juantrippe82 well...because, it's not citytv running the show anymore, but the CTV empire instead...it's NOT the same...

To be honest, the old CityPulse is what - in my opinion - showed what Citytv was all about. When CityNews came about, and many key personalities were let go, its just not the same anymore, unfortuantely. Still love 'em, though!
