From the classic lover's rock album Hopelessly in Love released in 1981. My sister had this on vinyl back in the day. I absolutely loved this track and Sing Me A Love Song.

  • My mom raised me on these type of tunes, gosh this is when tunes used to be tunes. I think a lot of people are growing tired on the modern day bull-sh*t called music and slowly running back to nostalgia.

  • @muvley Absolutely, we had the real being there at-the-time-of-creation of all those sweet sounds. I spent half of the 70's and most of the 80's down in Leicester square/Piccadilly, all over the west end, the whole of west London was buzzing with music back in those times, then I dunno what the heck happened, somebody left the back door open at the BBC or something & then all the Coppola slipped in and ruined it. Thank God for Capital Radio, David Roddigan, Gregg Edwards, Robbie Vincent

  • @Santangelo47 I seem to recall having this tune on permanent repeat early 80s,it must have been a good era as many of these classics evoke priceless feelings and smiles. We were lucky i think?

  • This is one of the more memorable lovers rock tunes that I can remember playing often in my early adulthood back at the turn of the 80's. I was 22 when this hit the charts, and it was played relentlessly all over the place. Now I'm 52 and although I've changed a lot over the years, I was born & grew up on Harrow Road NW10, I was a Harlesden Man, so I grew up with the sounds of Reggae & Lovers Rock, Friday & Saturday night for me was Gregg Edwards and David Roddigan. Aaaaaaaaah, such memories☺/
