I challenged myself to create one drawing a week for all of 2011.
The drawings are largely unplanned and evolve over a few days.
I have found when I have created these unplanned, intuitive drawings in the past they invariably become landscapes inhabited by one, two or a few trees. The tree's relationship with the landscape in each drawing almost always reflects what's happening to me at that time in my life. The drawings are a weekly journal of my thoughts, ideas, feelings and travels of the year.
