  • hmmm thanks for the video, was thinking about getting an 8600 gt or gts. Gotta ask, does it get an average of 25 fps or higher on medium?. Got same ram and proc but mine is 3.06ghz

  • i would get the gts or even and 8800gts(there is one on sale at newegg) but in the first part of the game i was averaging 25 fps but later on it gets a lot more detailed and i had to drop it all down to low but it still looks pretty good.

  • wowie!

same specs but my ram is 1.5GB.

    will it be playable?

  • yea i would thank so because mine never gets above 1gb of usage while playing.

  • we really don't give a fuck.

  • Not really. The requirements on Crysis says that it will run on a pentium 4.

  • in flames we trust from holland

  • @123d00M321 me too i have pentium 4 3.0ghz nvidia 9600gt 1g

3gig of ram with windows 7 ultimate and themarltake v9 with a 450 watts :)

  • lets face it. P4's are done for

nonetheless, I still own a P4 2.66Ghz Northwood machine, with a radeon 9600SE. Does quite a good job on UT2004

  • I run it at Enthusiast settings, EVERYTHING MAXED OUT. With 50 FPS stable : )

  • yeeah! i have a pentium HT 3.0Ghz,nvidia 9600GT and 2GB of RAM and i can run crysis on high with 20 FPS:D

  • 4670? 40-45 FPS @ 1440x900 @ 2xAA @ Very High never Xd ARE U CRAZY? lol that card its a bit worst than a 8800gt 512, lol very high dx10 1280x1024 and no AA will get 24 fps

  • Get the following setup and you can get Crysis at average 40FPS...

    CPU: Intel Core2Duo E6300 (Conroe)

    OC to 3.03Ghz (430x7.0, 1700FSB)

    GFX: HD4670 1GB DDR3, OC to 790/970[ (core/mem)

    M/B: Asus P5Q Deluxe

    RAM: 3GB Crucial Ballistix PC8500 (3x1Gb)

    =

    40-45 FPS @ 1440x900 @ 2xAA @ Very High

For Crysis warhead, same setup, Gamer settings, 35FPS average. :)

  • Buy a 775 board with an e6600, some 800mhz ram for $100-$150 and your performance will double. After that all you need is a new GPU :)

  • Crysis cannot run on a Pentium 4 EFFICIENTLY. READ: EFFICIENTLY. The frames per second will be just too low to make the game TRULY enjoyable. At least, in my opinion.
