Interstate wreck caught on CCTV

Our local ABC affiliate, ABC 33/40 was broadcasting a live view from a traffic cam located at I-65 and Oxmoor Road, pointed north. A pickup slides into the center wall, and becomes a part of a 3 car wreck. The commentary by James Spann and Jason Simpson is entertaining!

Back in about 1973 there was a chain reaction crash on an icy bridge in OKC.

I was close enough to hear it.

I think 65-67 cars were involved.

I know it sounded like someone clapping their hands....smack, smack, smack, smack...that went on for about 6-7 minutes.

Nobody was injured badly enough to be transported but a lot of people had to find alternate transportation.

I think I remember the Newspapers saying that 40+ citations were issued.
