Atheists will often times champion the thought of intellectual superiority. It is such a bluff and all you have to do is expose the very fact that they have a leap of faith that their naturalism is built ontop of. They have to ENORMOUS LEAPS OF FAITH before they can even get the ball rolling.

First...the origin of the universe

second...abiogenesis (life arising out of life-less material)

Oh, and it goes on from their but why let them build even more ontop of these assumptions before calling them out on it? It's their faith! That's the bottom line.

At the end of the day when you look at the Origin of the universe the Believer in God has "more plausible" answers than the atheist.

F.Y.I. This atheist that I was addressing was being extremely rude to a friend of mine, hence my bluntness with him.

@6gunwalker We don't believe in the big bang. It's a THEORY. Are you those kinds of Christians who believe we're science worshippers or something? Devil worshippers maybe? Oh and I see you believe the ontological argument proves the existence of God right? What if I tell you that the argument is flawed and unfortunately fails?

@1800kfred So you're avoiding the question. How do you know? Why do you decide to believe that he always existed? The fact that we may NEVER be able to prove that there is a god doesn't PROVE that there is a god.

Saying that God has always existed and no one created him therefore no one can prove he exists and THEN say that this is PROOF of the existence of God is IRRATIONAL. Think!

We don't know what caused the Big Bang yet, but that doesn't mean God did it. We also don't know how subatomic particles come into existance from nothing, and vanish a fraction of a second later without leaving a trace. You could say God did it, but you could also say a giant purple octopus did it. There is no reason to believe that God is responsible more than a purple octopus, along with an infinite number of other explanations.
