@pataciucciottino i'm sorry, but I strongly disagree... I actually agree that sometimes the author is not one good interpreter of his own work, but in this case in particular, it's one of the best interpretation of Andraé Crouch... "My Tribute" lyrics has such a tremendous power: it's about gratitude, redemption and worship, all at once... It's a song meant to be sung not ultimately with perfect technique, but with pure heart and soul... And that, my friend, a few can do better than this...

The first concert I ever went to was at First Baptist Church in Tulsa Oklahoma and it was Andre Crouch and the Disciples. I had no idea who they were when I went, but I have never forgotten them since. Bought several of his albums.
