I think where AZ fails our future is in having US tax payers dishing out the cost of ESL, YET there is NO full-immersion 2nd language programs going on in our preschool through high school classrooms. How do we except our children to Global citizens & compete with China if we don't provide these opportunties? These children from] Mexico have it made. Not only are they receiving a free 2nd lang, but are taking those spots and pushing the tax payers into paying double - (for private schools).
