The car in front should have indicated, and checked mirrors before turning.

the cop car should have seen there was a turn to the left and slowed down briefly, then either one of two things, the car turns and he could pass the car on the right, the car is just past the left turn and isn't going that way and he could pass on the left.

Incredible... This is an indictment of the American education system... I'll dumb it down for everyone... Just because something is bright, shiny and flashy doesn't mean go towards it... the driver in this case is just incredible.. I mean, i can't really put into words how retarded this guy is... for all the fags out there saying, "no that's just insensitive!" fucking pick up your tampons and go the fuck away. This happened 2 houses down from my house!!!!! This cop got LUCKY!!!!! The family that lives there, a BIG family, were all out to dinner and brought multiple vehicles, they NEVER go out to dinner! The guy whose room the cop car stopped in was in the hospital that day, and their 2 dogs had run away earlier that day as well. Had this cop been a foot off to his left or right, he would NOT be here today!!! Power poles on either side of his path! He just happened to thread the needle and live!!!

@TheWaPREPPER Yep, I stand corrected, the audible sirens comes back on moments before impact. They were off while driving down the street however. And if you look at the skyline I can see blue sky. Given different driving positions people adopt, there is a chance that the driver didn't look in the mirror to see the cop car flying down the street behind them. You will note that the car didn't actually move until the cop turned on the siren and most likely spooked the driver.

@leewarrick You can clearly hear the siren, and to top it off it is night and much easier to see the flashing lights. In this video i dont blame the cop at all, getting to the scene as fast as possible could be the difference between life or death but I dont know what he was on call for.
