Oh yes! Here's a recording of all twenty six tunes (not 25 as claimed in the scrolltext) that feature in the Acorn version of the sequel to DMA Design's most famous game. This sequel features even more public domain tunes that were ruthlessly murdered by Matt Furniss in the name of entertainment... but if the reception to the tunes from the original Lemmings is anything to go by, you'll be returning to listen to these "Elevator Tunes" time and time again!
(Track listing now stored in playlist)
For the benefit of the geeks among you:
The titles were played in Oh No! More Lemmings, in RedSquirrel, in Wine, in Linux (yeah, two stacked emulators...) and recorded using RecordMyDesktop-gtk (Vorbis), before being edited and converted to motion jpeg in LiVES.
Tunes played in Milkytracker (Linux mod player) and recorded into 160 Kb/s mp3 format using Audacity.
The two halves were then combined in OpenShot and recorded as mov/h.264.
