@carcrusher420 Water, as being polar, quickly migrates to even the smallest dents in the score and aids in creating additional clean stress in the glass, so the whole thing breaks evenly.

@DJPSILOCYBIN For short pieces you have to use the thermal cut method where you score the tube, place a drop of water on the score, then heat a small glass rod white hot and place it over the drop of water.
