TV news is a joke! In actuality, it's collusive with the people being interviewed. All so-called hard hitting Sunday morning news shows are. That's how they get the big names.

So Cheney more or less just admitted that "the surge" is not the reason for increased stability by saying the troop number increases were insignificant. He mentions "counter insurgent strategy" (= payoffs to a great extent) in the very same sentence as "the surge". And so-called legit journalist Schieffer never calls him on it, follows up, asks for elaboration?!
