to be completely honest edge shouldn't play that with a strat anymore, it seriously screws it up for me

I'm pretty sure Edge used the LP Custom for that in the studio. ;-) But he played "Pride" and "Still Haven't Found" on the Gretsch during the popmart tour.
@mick: nice work! What's your signal path? The mod-delay sounds like an Axe-FX...

Been watching your vids for awhile now; saw this Pride version couple days ago, nothing to say I'm actually speechless concerning this video; I was 22 when Pride came out, to see and hear someone play this w/out a Strat and sound that good..... talking when I need to be listening. Thanks

Thanks for the kind words...I was 15 when it came out :) We are all getting old i guess :) Theres a bunch of U2 songs that he used one type of guitar in studio and another live for some reason..This is one of them..
